What is Bobcat Online Homework Help?
This program is designed to be an “after-hours” homework help support center for K-12 students and parents. Grade level rooms will be staffed by CalTeach undergraduate students and will be open from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Monday-Thursday. CalTeach undergraduate students will help K-12 students and parents with homework questions, general tutoring support for science and math content as well as give guidance on where to find additional support materials for students.
Is this online?
Yes, for Fall 2020 semester the homework help center will be online and run through Zoom sessions.
Do I have to reside in the Merced area to access this service?
No, since this service is online for Fall 2020 semester, it is open to K-12 students residing anywhere.
Does my child have to log-in everyday to this service?
No, your child can log-in days that they need help with homework or science/math content. They are not required to log-in everyday.
How can parents sign up?
STEP 1: Fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/mBVyDjNyZsNWYtK99
STEP 2: Once you fill out the form, you will receive a confirmation email from CalTeach staff for a zoom link and passcode.
*Please do not share the zoom link with your interested friends and family, instead have them fill out the google form with us directly and we will email them all the details. Students who are not registered will not be access the Zoom room for Bobcat Homework Help.
Each grade level will be divided and have a different zoom link as follows:
- Elementary (grades K-5)
- Middle School (6th-8th)
- High School (9th-12th)
What if I am not receiving any emails or follow-up after registering my student on the google form?
Please allow 1-2 business days for one of our CalTeach staff to respond and confirm your registration.
